This poet was Born on 1824,Jan25 in Sagardari (Jessore district,Bangladesh). He Died on 1873,June29 at the age of 49. (Calcutta General Hospital on 27 June 1873 three days after death of 2nd wife)He was a famous poet and dramatist of 19th century in Bengal.
He born in a 'Hindu' family but he became 'Christian' though his family disagree. After becoming Christian, he added 'Michael' on his first name.
Madhusudan is called the father of 'Bangla sonnet'.
He spent his childhood on Shekpura village, he learned 'Persian language' from a 'Mosque' there. He was able to learn Indian Languages like Bengali, Sanskrit and Tamil and other like Greek,Latin,Italian,French
when he was in Madras, he married Rebecca Mactavys and had fou children.then Michael married a French woman named Henrietta Sophia White
